Larissa Tenzycki, DC
Dr. Larissa Tenzycki grew up in Niceville, FL and returned to practice after college. She attended undergraduate studies at Life University and received a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Excelsior College. She graduated with honors with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2000. She earned the prestigious Academy of Chiropractic Philosopher’s postgraduate certification in 2008. Larissa is currently enrolled in the Institute of Functional Medicine .
Kylie Sharp, DC
Kylie Sharp grew up in East Tennessee and has recently relocated to Florida to to join the Growing Green Families team. She attended undergraduate studies at Carson Newman College and received a Bachelor of Science in General Psychology and Biology. She graduated with honors with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2017.
Christy Shields, CLC
Christy is a Florida native and settled back in the area in 2007. She has been supporting families with birth and breastfeeding since 2005. She is currently a Certified Lactation Counselor, offering individual and group lactation counseling services. She is also offering childbirth education classes and is the Growing Green Families Office Manager.
Marokort “Morey” Bryan, LMT
Morakort (Morey) Bryan grew up in Niceville in the 80’s and returned after experiencing life beyond Niceville. After realizing her calling in the healing modalities in 1998, she attended Phoenix School of Holistic Health for massage therapy in Houston, TX. In 2001 she attended school in Bangkok, Thailand for Thai massage. She attended Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage in Miramar Beach, FL to comply with Florida Department of Health for her massage license in 2016. Her therapeutic technique is a combination of all the she’s learnt since being licensed in 1999. She is also a certified Reiki and ThetaHealing practitioner.
Megan Scott, LMT
Originally from a small town in New Jersey, at the age of 21 Megan packed her bags and moved to Hawaii. While on the beautiful island of O'ahu, her eyes were opened to a different way of life. Her interest for holistic health grew and she decided her journey as a bodyworker was about to begin. Megan began looking for a place to study and in 2004 her search led her to a small massage school in Sedona, Arizona.
The past several years Megan has maintained her massage, craniosacral therapy and yoga practice. In 2018, as she felt my CST practice shift towards pediatrics and made the decision to train with DONA to become a birth Doula. Megan recently moved to Niceville with her husband and her cat.
Jessica Williamson, CPST
Jessica has lived in the panhandle her entire life, growing up in Fort Walton Beach. She has worked mostly in retail and customer service-based positions for the past ten years. When pregnant with her first son, the discovery of midwifery and the community centered around a local birth center quickly changed her life. She became a birth assistant a few years after having her first son and later became part of the office staff. Her passion for natural wellness along with her background in retail make her make her a valued part of the Growing Green families team. The opportunity to share her experience with birth, baby wearing, car seat safety, and breastfeeding make her a valued resource to our growing families.
Jessica is Certified Passenger Safety Technician.
Laiken worked in the Real Estate industry within title and mortgages before deciding to stay home with their first born in 2013. It was around that time that she began researching alternative and holistic medicine and practices and found a deep interest in gaining knowledge.
Through the years, she has gained personal experience in non-toxic living, nutrition, and overall wellness and decided to pursue further education through the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition program. Through that program, she has learned how to assist people through their nutrition and supplement journey as well as suggesting functional medicine labs to complete to find the root cause answer to their health concerns. She loves being able to help people feel better and loves the all encompassing approach that Functional Medicine provides!
Laiken has lived in the Fort Walton Beach area for over 30 years and loves being able to raise her kids with her husband in this area, too!
